SMT continues to advance its commitment to sustainable business practices through the “STARS GROW GREEN” initiative.
On 7 August 2026, SMT’s management and employees participated in a mangrove planting and restoration activity at the Khlong Khon Mangrove Conservation Center & Phuyaichong Homestay, Samut Songkhram Province. The activity aimed to contribute to the restoration of natural resources, increase green areas, and support the balance of coastal ecosystems.

Mangrove forests play a vital role in maintaining healthy coastal ecosystems. They provide important nursery habitats for aquatic species, help protect coastal areas from erosion, and absorb carbon dioxide, contributing to climate change mitigation. Through this activity, SMT also encouraged employees to actively participate in environmental conservation while creating shared value with local communities and society.
The “STARS GROW GREEN” initiative reflects SMT’s commitment to conducting business in accordance with sustainable development principles, with a strong focus on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations. It also reinforces environmental awareness within the organization and encourages employees to take an active and continuous role in protecting and restoring natural resources.
Through collective action, SMT continues to grow green together and create positive environmental and social impact for a more sustainable future.
